چکیده

Bifidobacterium animalis subsp. lactis HN019 is a probiotic with several documented human health benefits. Interest in probiotics has led to the development of new formats that probiotics, including HN019, can be supplemented into. In this study, we looked at common such as frozen culture and freeze-dried powder well supplementing it into following food matrices: yogurts (dairy, soy, oat based), xanthan gum-based tablets, pulpless orange juice, whey sports drink, dark chocolate (70% cocoa). work, our aim was investigate whether matrix carried via simulated digestion (a dual model system mimicking both upper lower gastrointestinal digestion) influenced delivery. To end, validated used real-time qPCR assay detect after digestion. addition, also measured effect on panel metabolites. After digestion, were able from all matrices tested, observed changes metabolite profile consistent those expected used. conclusion, work suggests did not interfere delivery colon

Polyphasic taxonomic analysis of Bifidobacterium animalis and Bifidobacterium lactis reveals relatedness at the subspecies level: reclassification of Bifidobacterium animalis as Bifidobacterium animalis subsp. animalis subsp. nov. and Bifidobacterium lactis as Bifidobacterium animalis subsp. lactis subsp. nov.

The taxonomic standing of Bifidobacterium lactis and Bifidobacterium animalis was investigated using a polyphasic approach. Sixteen representatives of both taxa were found to be phenotypically similar and shared more than 70% DNA-DNA relatedness (76-100%), which reinforces the conclusions of previous studies in which B. lactis and B. animalis were considered to be one single species. However, t...

Genetic basis of tetracycline resistance in Bifidobacterium animalis subsp. lactis.

All strains of Bifidobacterium animalis subsp. lactis described to date show medium level resistance to tetracycline. Screening of 26 strains from a variety of sources revealed the presence of tet(W) in all isolates. A transposase gene upstream of tet(W) was found in all strains, and both genes were cotranscribed in strain IPLAIC4. Mutants with increased tetracycline resistance as well as tetra...

Effect of Whey Permeate and Yeast Extract on Metabolic Activity of Bifidobacterium Animalis Subsp. Lactis Bb 12

In fermented products containing Bifidobacteria, factors such as organic acid concentration and b-galactosidase activity are important in the development of flavor and texture of final products. Both the process conditions and medium components have significant effects on fluctuation of such factors. The effects of whey permeate powder and yeast extract concentrations, as nitrogen sources was i...

the effect of e-64 on the developmental competence of sheep cocs during in vitro maturation

in the present study, the effect of e-64 at different concentrations (0.5, 1, 5 and 10 µm) added to (1) the ivm medium on oocyte nuclear maturation and developmental competence of ovine oocytes, and (2) to the ivc medium on embryonic development of ovine embryos were investigated.

Effect of Bifidobacterium animalis subsp. lactis GCL2505 on the physiological function of intestine in a rat model

Bifidobacterium animalis ssp. lactis GCL2505 has been shown to proliferate in the human intestine. The intestinal dynamics and physiological effects of GCL2505 as well as the mechanism underlying proliferation in the gut were investigated. GCL2505 showed markedly higher resistance to free bile acids (cholic and deoxycholic acids) than other bifidobacterial species. The intestinal dynamics of GC...
